Stop The Edit is a post-production only service. Existing footage shot by your wedding videographer is edited into a finished film. This service is designed for couples working with a videographer, or for videographers who need editing support.
What is included in a wedding highlight film?
A wedding highlight film is a 3 to 5 minute edit of the best moments from the day, synchronised to music with colour balancing applied. It captures the emotional arc of the wedding in a format suitable for sharing and keeping.
What does the full wedding package include?
The full wedding package includes the highlight film, a full ceremony edit and a speeches edit. All three are colour balanced, music synced where appropriate and delivered as separate files ready for the couple to keep and share.
How long does wedding video editing take?
Wedding edits are typically delivered within 7 to 14 business days depending on film length and package. Exact turnaround is confirmed at briefing. For videographers with a specific style, the editor will review reference films before starting work.
What footage format do you accept for wedding editing?
All standard camera footage formats are accepted including MP4, MOV and MXF files. Footage can be submitted via Google Drive or WeTransfer. A folder structure is provided at onboarding to make submission straightforward every time.
Can you match a specific editing style?
Yes — reference films or mood boards can be supplied to guide editing style, music choices and pacing. For videographersoutsourcing regularly, the editor learns their particular style over time so briefing becomes lighter with each project.
